There is a lot to cover today. Drumpf, noem, miller, and rubio are all losing in the due process and freedom of speech battles with immigrants and deportations. Two particularly tough losses for them is the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia from El Salvador and the release of Mahmoud Khalil. It just burns their butts that their propaganda tour is NOT working on the immigration front, and in fact, has caused drumpf’s approval rating to fall significantly over what he has pulled in Los Angeles. He may feel all puffed up like some tough overlord, but overall his bullying and attempts at authoritarianism and dictatorship are not working in his favor. We have to make sure that we continue to counter it.

The Big Ugly Bill (OBBBA) is undergoing some major changes in the Senate and some pieces on the bill are not passing the Byrd Rule. We have to keep pounding on Congress to make sure that they look at all the hidden policy items that should also be pulled due to a Byrd Rule violation. I have written to my Senators and my State leaders to bring to their attention the violation of the 1^st and 10^th Amendments in two of the most egregious inclusions – requirement that a bond be placed before any federal lawsuit placing an undo burden on citizens who want to bring redress for grievances to our government, and the State’s rights to regulate Artificial Intelligence. The bond issue falls into the same policy change as exempting the executive branch from complying with court orders. I urge you to contact your senators today – even the red ones who will likely ignore the content of your message, but will not be able to ignore the numbers who have contacted them about it.

The restriction that States cannot pass laws to regulate AI for 10 years, or any period of time is also Unconstitutional and also does not pass the above referenced Byrd Rule.

GOP Wants Parents of 14 – 18 Year-Olds to Work For Medicaid

“A poll from Ipsos and The Washington Post found that a plurality of Americans oppose the bill, with 42 percent opposing it, 34 percent saying they have no opinion and 23 percent saying they support it. Specifically, they are grappling with the unpopularity of the bill’s changes to Medicaid. And it does not show signs of letting up. On Monday, the Senate Finance Committee released the text of its part of the bill.”

Why do these eejits actually think that all of a sudden the cut to services to 90%+ of the population so that 10% or less can take all of our tax dollars and pocket them? For one, it lowers the age at which children are considered dependent to 14 years old. That means parents of children older than 14 would have to work to keep their Medicaid.”

They do not want you to know that because they plan on blowing up the Deficit AND the Debt, that in four years your taxes will go back up and “boy howdy how!” while the rich will get to keep running up the debt. The do not want you to know that PAYGO will kick in because of the increase in deficits and debt and take the money out of Medicare, thus tanking medical care for the elderly.

Let’s see if I got this – the bill hurts the very poor, the poor working class, children, veterans, the elderly, the disabled, the ill and terminally ill, people with chronic conditions. Wow! That is like 90%+ of the population in this country. So our Congress is building a federal budget that only benefits up to 10% of our population while harming the other 90%. The good news is that the Senate version of the bill removes the ability for drumpf and his circus freaks to ignore court orders or respond to contempt charges. Yay! The bad news is that they replaced it with this ridiculous requirement that every federal lawsuit must be filed with a financial bond covering any potential costs the government may incur in participating in the lawsuit. In my opinion, this continues to violate the Byrd Rule and the 1^st Amendment as a roadblock to people exercising their first amendment rights to “petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Women should have privacy in their papers (the 4^th Amendment) and that includes abortions and other reproductive care. All medical records are protected by HIPAA and I do not think that even law enforcement, and especially not HHS should have access to these records without permission from the patient. But the Texas judge in this case does not agree and I am sure we will see this one in front of the Supreme Court. If the government respected our rights as citizens, we would not need clarification, which Kacsmaryk calls “expanded scope,” to our laws.

It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it.” That is how I see people shooting or killing people who do not look like them, who do not agree with them politically, or who say (use words, not violence) something that they do not like. If you want to join an established group, then look at the links below. Please do not wait for some leader to pop up and tell us all what to do. Be the leader!

If you cannot find a group, then form one and take action in your local area, keeping safety in mind, of course. When you take action, report it. Spread pictures, videos, write-ups, whatever all over the Internet in every media that will take it. If the horses won’t come to the water, we will take the water to the horses and when they are thirsty for ratings, they will drink!

We have to reclaim our local communities and all the boards, mayors, council people, district boards, school boards, library boards, water boards, recreational boards, city planning boards, county commissioners, sheriffs, county election boards, state legislators, AGs, Sec of State, Governors and everything else in between. We have to push out the hatred, bigotry, racism, phobia prone whackafools who want to tell everyone else how to live and get the message to go live your own life and let others live theirs. We can do this - this year, next year, and the year after that - and for years to come. Keep running our "freedom & democracy" candidates until we have it all back. If you cannot run for office, support someone who does that believes in equality and freedom!

You want a TOWN HALL MEETING? Don’t Wait for A Leader!

Set up a Town Hall Meeting without your representative. Hold the meeting and let everyone share. Take notes/meeting minutes. Send a copy of the official Meeting Minutes to their offices. Post them in newspapers and on every social media or other media you can. Make sure to put at the top who the representative was that did not show and where the town hall meeting was held. Then just report on what happened and all the concerns and questions. Hold these meetings weekly or regularly. Keep the pressure on even if they want to hide and pretend we/you all do not matter!

Then go out and contact a Democrat in your State and invite them to come talk in your district to answer questions. I will bet you they will show up!
